He was talking about the possible successors Trump and the IC believed that THEY - the Iranians - were most likely to install as the new leader of Iran.
But NOW, when it turns out they were all killed in the first strike, as Trump very accurately informed you, "It's not going to be anybody that we were thinking of because they're all dead. Second and third are all dead."
But you know this, Jonathon. Your buddy @jimsciutto knows this as well, as he repeatedly quotes your reporting on @CNN and braces every guest with the question of "How can we be confident of how Trump is prosecuting the war when the people on his list to take over Iran were killed in the first strike?"
How could you possibly know this? Well, one reason is because a fifth-grader would know it. If I told a fifth-grader what you have told millions of people with this post, he'd say:
