A year ago my daughter was inspired to insist on my father flying out to visit us for her NJROTC ceremony at school. Anyone that attended the ceremony would think that flying him out may have been overkill but it was a gift. He flew by himself and was so proud, it gave his self-esteem a massive boost- and for two days- two whole days I had my old dad back. We played cards, watched the SAS and really got to say goodbye.
We feel very blessed to not only have had him as a father but to have had 6 years to say goodbye.
Oh and f* every single person at Bayer/Monsanto and the FDA who greenlit glyphosate.

A little DST history lesson:
We experimented with year-round Daylight Saving Time (DST) as a response to the 1973 oil crisis, with the change taking effect on January 6, 1974.
The goal was to conserve energy by extending daylight into the evening hours.
This shift resulted in significantly darker mornings during the winter months, particularly affecting schoolchildren who had to commute to school before sunrise.
In Florida, eight schoolchildren were killed in predawn car accidents shortly after the policy began.
