One of the most awful (and to be honest sinister) things about modern medicine is how they define certain things. The best example of this is labeling obesity as a “chronic disease”.
Loads of medical authorities and doctors do this. It’s everywhere. Why is this so dangerous?
Because it instantly disempowers millions of people, and reinforces the narrative that they are lumbered with the diagnosis forever— which inevitably only medications can fix.
This is a huge insult to the many people who have naturally shed pounds through sheer determination, willpower, and a desire to improve their lives. They refused to settle for the path that society is laying out for them.
Meet Tricia, one of the most amazing people I’ve ever worked with with. She and her mom have undergone an absolutely amazing transformation by taking simple common sense steps to lose fat and reverse insulin resistance. They’ve also been able to come off their medications.
You can listen to their amazing story here, and I’m bringing them back on my channel next week! Video link: https://youtu.be/ixbPsOu0wwg?si=GHc5hiiwvLk7VXIb
Many chronic conditions develop gradually, often long before symptoms appear.
Supporting the body early through sleep, nutrition, and stress regulation helps maintain physiological balance and reduce long-term strain on key systems.
