Ein einziger Faustschlag. Ein 16-Jähriger fällt um, wird wenige Tage später für hirntot erklärt, die Familie muss nach neun Tagen die Maschinen abschalten. Und der Täter? Ein Jahr Bewährung und 80 Sozialstunden. Das ist nicht „Jugendstrafrecht“, das ist ein staatlich ausgestellter Rabattgutschein auf Leben. 
Und bevor wieder jemand „Das war doch nicht geplant“ murmelt: Genau darum geht’s. Wer in einer aufgeheizten Gruppensituation ausholt und seitlich an die Schläfe trifft, spielt Russisches Roulette mit einem menschlichen Kopf. Das ist kein „Schubser“, keine „Rangelei“, kein „dumm gelaufen“. Das Ergebnis ist tot. Punkt. Laut Staatsanwaltschaft war es der „entscheidende Schlag“, der ein Blutgefäß im Gehirn reißen ließ. 
Noch absurder wird’s, wenn man liest, dass das Opfer den Streit offenbar schlicht schlichten wollte und danach am Boden lag, während andere weiter auf ihn eingetreten haben sollen. Da kippt das Ganze endgültig von „Tragödie“ zu „barbarischer Mob“. Und am Ende steht ein Urteil, das so wirkt, als wolle man vor allem eins: das Thema schnell wegmoderieren. 
Ich sage es hart, weil es hart ist: Solche Urteile senden ein Signal. Nicht an die „anständigen Jugendlichen“, die sowieso keine Leute totschlagen. Sondern an genau die Sorte, die in Gruppen Stress sucht, gerne auf dicke Hose macht und im Zweifel zuschlägt. Das Signal lautet: Wenn du jung genug bist, kommst du irgendwie durch. Ein bisschen Sozialstunden, ein bisschen „Bewährung“, ein bisschen Betroffenheit im Gerichtssaal, fertig. Das ist kein Rechtsfrieden, das ist ein schlechter Witz auf Kosten der Opferfamilie. 
Natürlich kommt dann der Standardsatz: „Jugendschutz.“ Ich habe nichts gegen Schutz von Jugendlichen. Ich habe etwas dagegen, wenn „Schutz“ in der Praxis heißt, dass die Gesellschaft vor der Wahrheit geschützt wird und Täter vor Konsequenzen. Transparenz ist kein Luxus, sie ist Vertrauen. Und Vertrauen bekommt man nicht, indem man bei tödlicher Gewalt so tut, als wäre das pädagogisch schon irgendwie zu lösen. 
Wer Gewalt eindämmen will, muss sie ernst nehmen. Nicht erst, wenn ein Messer im Spiel ist, nicht erst, wenn es „politisch“ passt, nicht erst, wenn Kamerateams vor Ort sind. Ein Toter ist ein Toter. Und ein Urteil, das gefühlt unterhalb der moralischen Schmerzgrenze bleibt, macht die Lage nicht besser, sondern normalisiert sie.

A bit of social lessons, a bit of “currency”, a bit of defiance in the courtroom. This is not a legal peace, that is a bad joke at the expense of the victim family. 
Of course, the standard set comes: “Youth protection.” I have nothing to protect young people. I object to something if “protection” in practice means that society is protected from truth and perpetrators from consequences. Transparency is not a luxury, it is trust. And you don't get trust by pretending with deadly violence as if it were kind of to solve it. 
Whoever wants to contain violence must take it seriously. Not only when a knife is in the game, not only when it “politic” fits, not until camera teams are on site. A dead man is a dead man. And a judgment that feels below the moral pain limit does not make the situation better, but normalizes it.
