Wieder Skandal um MP #Voigt (CDU): Am 3. 12.25 fragte ich Voigt im Thüringer #Landtag, warum er seit März 2024 an keiner Sitzung des #MDR-#Rundfunkrat s teilgenommen hat – trotz einer monatlichen Aufwandsentschädigung von über 800 EUR - in Summe 18.000 EUR . Seine Antwort: Die Sitzungen fänden „auch hybrid“ statt.
Die schriftliche Antwort der Staatskanzlei auf meine Kleine Anfrage Nr. 1875 klärt das nüchtern auf:
Seit März 2024 gab es KEINE hybriden Sitzungen des MDR-Rundfunkrats. Alle fanden ausschließlich in Präsenz statt (§ 19 Abs. 4 MDR-Staatsvertrag erlaubt hybride Formate nur in Notlagen). Hybride Teilnahmen waren lediglich bei Sitzungen der separaten MDR-Landesgruppe Thüringen möglich (gemäß MDR-Satzung).
Voigt hat also zwei unterschiedliche Gremien vermischt – oder den Eindruck erweckt, er könne den Rundfunkrat digital wahrnehmen, was faktisch nicht der Fall war.
Die öffentlichen Anwesenheitslisten auf http://mdr.de bestätigen: Seit März 2024 ist Voigt dort nirgends verzeichnet – weder physisch noch hybrid. Selbst bei der Landesgruppe fehlte er teilweise aus terminlichen oder persönlichen Gründen.
Formal ist die Mitgliedschaft rechtlich in Ordnung (entsandt vom Landtag als Abgeordneter, Inkompatibilitätsregeln greifen nicht, siehe Drucksache 8/2688).
Politisch sendet es jedoch ein klares Signal: Ein Mandat wird besetzt, aber nicht wahrgenommen – und blockiert damit potenziell einen Nachrücker. Die Entschädigung fließt trotzdem weiter.
Vor dem Hintergrund der Plagiatsaffäre, die Voigt bereits den Doktortitel gekostet hat, wirft das zusätzliche Fragen zur Glaubwürdigkeit auf.
Wer im Plenum eine Möglichkeit suggeriert, die es nicht gibt, und das dann von der eigenen Regierung korrigieren lassen muss, schadet nicht nur sich selbst, sondern dem Amt.
Es bleibt die Forderung nach Transparenz: Vollständige Offenlegung der Teilnahmedaten seit März 2024 und eine klare Erklärung im Landtag. Wenn das Mandat nicht aktiv ausgeübt werden kann, wäre ein Rücktritt daraus der konsequente Schritt.
Thüringen verdient einen Ministerpräsidenten, der Verantwortung ernst nimmt – nicht nur den Titel und die Vergütung.

Since March 2024 there have been no hybrid meetings of the MDR Radio Council. All took place exclusively in presence (§ 19 para. 4 MDR State Contract allows hybrid formats only in emergencies). Hybrid participation was only possible at meetings of the separate MDR group Thuringia (according to the MDR meeting).
Voigt has therefore mixed two different committees – or has the impression that he can digitally perceive the broadcasting council, which was in fact not the case.
Public attendance lists at http://mdr.de confirm: Since March 2024 Voigt has not been listed anywhere – neither physically nor hybrid. Even with the national group, he was partially absent for terminological or personal reasons.
Formally, membership is legally in order (as a member of the country's parliament, incompatibility rules do not apply, see pressure 8/2688).
Politically, however, it sends a clear signal: A mandate is occupied, but not perceived – and potentially blocks a pusher. The compensation still continues.
Against the background of the plagiarism affinities that Voigt has already cost the doctorate, the additional questions on credibility are raised.
Anyone who suggests a possibility in plenary, which does not exist, and which must then be corrected by the own government, not only harms themselves but the office.
The demand for transparency remains: complete disclosure of the participation data since March 2024 and a clear declaration in the country's day. If the mandate cannot be actively exercised, a resignation would be the consistent step.
Thüringen deserves a prime minister who takes responsibility seriously – not only the title and the remuneration.
