Ende 2025 waren von den gezählten 4‘327‘000 Beschäftigten in der Schweiz rekordhohe 1‘300‘000 Vollzeitäquivalent direkt oder bei staatsnahen Betrieben beschäftigt. Das sind 30.7 Prozent. 1991 waren es noch weniger als 20 Prozent.
