I genuinely couldn't help laughing at this, it's just too delusional and absurd.
The man starts yet another war in the Middle-East, which his own camp framed - delusionally - as some sort of genius move to contain China. Lindsey Graham called it "China's nightmare" (https://x.com/OunkaOnX/status/2030664368447438915?s=20).
Fast forward 2 weeks afterwards, it's predictably turned into a complete quagmire, and now Trump is publicly begging China for help.

I'd also like to jump on this opportunity to go back to all the "analysts," including some from the so-called "anti-imperialist" left, who validated the neocon narrative that what Trump was in fact a master move to contain China. Hopefully this will be a lesson to not let yourself be blinded by the assumption that everything America does is strategic. Often it's just dumb and delusional hubris 🤷
If your "anti-imperialist" analysis reaches the same conclusion as Lindsey Graham, just reading from the opposite side (where you reply "they’re encircling China" and objecting to neocons saying "we’re encircling China" and cheering), something has gone very wrong.
