Es ist kaum noch vermittelbar, dass in diesem Land selbst Gewalttäter mit Bewährung davonkommen, während hier wegen reiner Äußerungsdelikte am Ende Haft steht. Genau das zeigt doch, wie verschoben die Maßstäbe inzwischen sind.
Worte können provozieren, verletzen oder empören. Man kann sie kritisieren, verurteilen und klar zurückweisen. Aber Gefängnis nur für Worte ist aus meiner Sicht ein lächerlich. Vor allem dann, wenn der Eindruck entsteht, dass hier nicht in erster Linie eine echte Gefahr bestraft wird, sondern eine Meinung, die nicht ins eigene Weltbild passt.
Hinzu kommt, dass Marla-Svenja Liebich in Tschechien festgenommen wurde, nachdem mit europäischem Haftbefehl nach ihr gefahndet worden war. Für mich wirkt das ganze wie eine Inszenierung und nicht wie nüchterne Strafvollstreckung. Es wirkt wie eine bewusste Machtdemonstration. Dass die Verhaftung nun auch noch medial breit ausgeschlachtet wird, verstärkt genau diesen Eindruck.
Ein freiheitlicher Staat muss auch unbequeme und radikale Ansichten aushalten, ohne gleich mit Haft zu reagieren. Genau deshalb halte ich nicht nur die Festnahme, sondern bereits die Verurteilung wegen eines Äußerungsdelikts für falsch.

Der Vater sieht verwirrt aus. „Warum hast du dich von Opa verabschiedet?“
„Ich weiß es nicht“, sagt sie. „Es fühlte sich einfach richtig an.“
Am nächsten Tag stirbt Opa.
Der Vater ist erschüttert, tut es aber als Zufall ab.
Einen Monat später hört er wieder zu, während sie ihre Gebete spricht.
„Gott segne Mama und Papa … und auf Wiedersehen, Oma.“
Tatsächlich stirbt Oma am nächsten Tag.
Jetzt ist er davon überzeugt, dass etwas los ist – aber er behält es für sich.
Monate vergehen.
Eines Nachts hört er nervös zu, wie seine Tochter mit ihren Gebeten beginnt. „Gott segne Mama…“
Sie hält inne, dreht den Kopf, sieht ihn direkt an und sagt: „… und auf Wiedersehen, Daddy.“
Das Herz des Mannes beginnt zu rasen. Er bricht in Schweiß aus und schläft in dieser Nacht überhaupt nicht.
Am nächsten Tag geht er zur Arbeit, schließt sich aber in seinem Büro ein. Er sagt alle Besprechungen ab, nimmt den Hörer ab und wartet auf das Unvermeidliche.
Er bleibt lange – nur um sicher zu gehen.
Mitternacht kommt.
Und er lebt noch.
Erleichtert, aber bis ins Mark erschüttert, macht er sich auf den Heimweg.
Seine Frau wartet an der Tür. „Wo warst du den ganzen Tag?!“ sie schnappt.
„Fang nicht an“, sagt er. „Ich hatte einen absolut miserablen Tag.“
Sie antwortet: „Du hattest einen miserablen Tag? Ich bin derjenige, der einen miserablen Tag hatte!“
„Zuerst fiel der Milchmann tot auf die Vordertreppe …“
