This is the stuff that wars are made of..

Das ist der Stoff, aus dem Kriege gemacht sind.
To add to my previous repost, just take a look at Iran's military strength. They have no air force but look at the size of their troops numbers, tanks, AA vehicles and their large missile force. Their diesel submarine force is small but they can sit undetectable on the shallow sea floor of Hormuz and launch torpedo's. Iran is no Iraq.
This war on Iran makes no sense. US readiness is at best 60%. This is no Iraq. The Chinese and Russians have provided Iran satellite defenses. Iran can be severely bombed but no war has ever been won from the air. And the economic repercussions are global due to oil prices skyrocketing. This is insane.
Remember, the Iranians (the defender), do not have to win, they just need to survive, block Hormuz, take 20% of world oil supply off the table and wait. They don't need to win the chess game, they just need to flip the board and send oil prices soaring. This is a very risky voluntary war. https://substack.com/home/post/p-167018708
R to @WarTard: This the current position of USN vessels within Tomahawk distance of Iranian infrastructure.
Iranian anti ship missiles ranging from 300 to 1000km range. Rumors are that Chinese transport planes in Tehran have provided the Iranians with their Satellite BeiDou Theater Satellite system.
The USN carrier groups are not what Iran should be afraid of. It's the massive buildup of USAF aircraft at bases in Saudi Arabia and Gulf State USAF bases. US Strategic thinking is she can absorb the Straits of Hormuz being closed for 3 weeks (which Iran will block) and hope to degrade Iranian infrastructure enough by then for US reopened before oil prices hit $200 a barrel.
I think I've read this story before.
R to @WarTard: As someone who has been studying this war for 15 years...

So the question everybody is asking after the Trump/Netanyahu meeting today is...
Is the attack on Iran a go?
If you cannot win a war by attacking its people, you can instead attack the people's money. All wars are banker's wars.
1 USD = 42k IRN (Friday)
1 USD = 1M IRN (Monday)
It's the same play versus Libya and Syria.
Combine it with some foreign provocateurs in riots and you don't need bombs.
This is where war is headed.
Brace for impact.
Day 4 of the 3 hour Special Military Operation.
With civil unrest fomenting in Iran, 2026 is sure going to be a helluva ride. I reckon the Russians are trying to bolster their southern flank before all hell breaks loose!
Prepare yourselves for the new drone carriers.
Less man power needed, autonomous AI attack orders, fast launch once incoming missiles detected, drones attack in swarms, large payload, fewer body bags with flags on coffins coming home.
Are you ready for 21st century warfare?
International media is pushing the idea of WWIII. Interesting psy-op. If they want to ready you for something, it's easiest to seed the idea over the timespan of a few years rather than drop it unilaterally in the space of a week. WWIII is built into the system now.
R to @WarTard: @Grok The post accurately reports the US Central Command's recent deployment of SpektreWorks LUCAS kamikaze drones to the Middle East, explicitly as a counter to Iranian threats, with the accompanying image depicting the delta-wing UAV in flight over arid terrain.
LUCAS drones, costing around $35,000 each, replicate Iran's Shahed-136 design—once derided by US officials in 2022 but validated in Ukraine for enabling swarm attacks—now enhanced with US satellite guidance for improved precision.
This move signals a strategic pivot toward affordable, attritable munitions, drawing from Ukraine's demonstrated efficacy of low-cost drones in high-volume strikes, potentially reshaping deterrence dynamics against Iran.
U.S. Deploys SpektreWorks LUCAS (Low-Cost Uncrewed Combat Attack System) drones to the ME as a warning to Iran. Unreal that the US is copying Iran's drone design (considered ridiculous in 2022) and now deploying a copy against Iran.
The war in Ukraine has shown us the future and it is murder.
