Zur Historie:
Wir sind im Frühjahr 2024 angetreten, aus dem WerteUnion Verein eine freiheitlich-konservative Partei zu machen – weil klar war: Die CDU wird nicht „zurückgeholt“, also braucht es eine Wahlalternative, die genau diesen Kurs wieder anbietet. Das Momentum für die Neugründung war da.
Dann wurden in den ersten Wochen viele handwerkliche Fehler in der Bundespartei gemacht: falsche Prioritäten, unglückliche Kommunikation, zu viel Show, zu wenig Struktur. Das war ärgerlich – aber nicht tödlich. Denn Parteiaufbau ist ein Marathon: Strukturen in den Ländern, Präsenz in der Fläche, Stammtische, Kommunalpolitik, Personal aufbauen, Profil schärfen. Genau diesen Weg sind wir in Baden-Württemberg gegangen – und wir hätten ihn weiter gehen können.
Kaputt ging das Projekt nicht an „handwerklichen Fehlern“. Kaputt ging es, als Meuthen und seine Truppe in die Partei geholt wurden. Ab da war es keine Aufbauphase mehr, sondern eine Übernahme. Nicht „Wie werden wir sichtbar?“ – sondern „Wer sitzt am Hebel?“ Nicht „Wie gewinnen wir Vertrauen?“ – sondern „Wen müssen wir loswerden?“
Zudem änderte sich die Grundausrichtung der WerteUnion. Statt unzufriedene CDU-Wähler zu überzeugen, wollte man fortan die Alternative zur AfD sein. Statt eine Partnerschaft - bei inhaltlicher Abgrenzung - mit der AfD aufzubauen, wollte man sich der CDU als Juniorpartner andienen.
Das Ergebnis war überall gleich: Unruhe statt Struktur, Intrige statt Team, Abwicklung statt Aufbau. @HGMaassen rausgedrängt, engagierte Leute (zum Beispiel @miflo78 @Patrick__Daul @CMFalck @DeFacendis @hausmann_ch @MichaelKuhr ) rausgedrängt, Landesverbände demotiviert – und am Ende steht ein Trümmerhaufen, den die selbsternannten Politprofis dann auch noch mit ernstem Gesicht „Erfahrung“ nennen.
Und jetzt haben wir die Bilanz, die ich schon vor Monaten prognostizierte, schwarz auf weiß: 11.200 Stimmen, 0,2 Prozent in Baden-Württemberg. Das ist kein Unfall. Das ist der öffentliche Beweis, dass diese Clique zwar Machtspiele kann – aber keine Partei. Sie haben ein wichtiges Projekt gekapert, den Namen WerteUnion verbrannt und anschließend exakt das geliefert, was man bekommt, wenn Karrieristen Aufbau ersetzen: Minderleistung auf offener Bühne.
Wer das wiederholen will, kann sich diese „Profis“ ins Haus holen. Wer eine Partei aufbauen will, sollte es lassen.

In addition, the basic orientation of the Values Union changed. Instead of convincing dissatisfied CDU voters, they wanted to be the alternative to the AfD from now on. Instead of building a partnership - with a difference in content - with the AfD, they wanted to serve as a junior partner to the CDU.
The result was the same everywhere: restlessness instead of structure, intrigue instead of team, execution instead of structure. @HGMaassen pushed out, committed people (for example @miflo78 @Patrick__Daul @CMFalck @DeFacendis @hausmann_ch @MichaelKuhr ) pushed out, regional associations demotivated - and in the end there is a pile of rubble that the self-proclaimed political professionals then call "experience" with a serious face.
