Springer-Leute, rechte Sozialdemokraten, Polizeistaat-Befürworter sie alle sind wütend, weil Künstler es wagen, sie beim Namen zu nennen:

... als Leute, die dabei soweit gehen, gemeinsame Sache mit israelischen Kriegsverbrechern gegen den Internationalen Strafgerichtshof zu machen! Soviel zur angeblichen "Nie-Wieder"-Gesinnung dieser Leute;
... als Leute, die kritische Künstler als "undankbar" gegenüber Deutschland darzustellen versuchen. Dabei sind sich die Künstler mit der großen Mehrheit der Deutschen einig, dass Israel schwerste Kriegsverbrechen begeht. Aber nicht mit der politischen Persil-Schein-Klasse der "Freunde" Israels, die diese "Dankbarkeit" einfordert.
Die Kritik der Künstler richtet sich nicht gegen Deutschland. Genausowenig wie die Kritik am zunehmend offen faschistischen Staat Israel alle Israelis über einen Kamm schert oder sich gegen Menschen richtet, nur weil sie jüdisch sind. Sie richtet sich vielmehr gegen eine offensichtlich verkommene politische Klasse und ihre opportunistische Doppelmoral, von der man sich nicht korrumpieren lässt. Gegen Politiker und ihre Helfershelfer in Amts- und Schreibstuben, die Recht und Demokratie predigen, aber Unrecht, Rassismus und brutalste Gewalt tolerieren, sie schützen, subventionieren und auch noch munitionieren.
Dass ist der Skandal. Das ist die Schande. Und nicht die erfrischend ehrlichen und menschlichen Worte einiger Künstler auf der Berlinale.
