Ach, wie herzerwärmend. Der Bund hat offenbar ein unerschöpfliches Füllhorn, solange es nur ins Ausland fliesst. Der Rahmen für die internationale Zusammenarbeit 2025–2028? Läppische elf Milliarden Franken, trotz aller parlamentarischen Kürzungs-Theater. 2024 allein satte vier Milliarden in die öffentliche Entwicklungshilfe – davon rund eine Milliarde für Asylkosten hierzulande, weil man ja auch die eigene Inkompetenz noch als «Hilfe» verkaufen muss. Die echte, noble Hilfe ins Ausland? Immer noch stolze 2,6 bis 3 Milliarden. Brunnen bohren am Hindukusch, Fenster ersetzen in Kiew, Klimaprojekte in der Sahelzone – alles prima. Hauptsache, es sind nicht unsere Rentner, die davon profitieren.
Aber wehe, es geht um die Eidgenossen selbst. Da wird plötzlich das Portemonnaie zugemacht und die Moralpredigt grossgeschrieben. Die AHV droht demografisch zu kollabieren, die Armee rostet seit Jahren vor sich hin, und was fällt dem Bundesrat ein? Natürlich: die Mehrwertsteuer anheben. Wieder einmal. 0,7 Prozentpunkte für die AHV, 0,8 für die Armee – zusammen 1,5 Punkte mehr auf alles, was wir kaufen. Weil angeblich kein Geld da ist. Ausser natürlich für die Weltrettung. Da scheint der Geldspeicher bodenlos.
Prioritäten? Welche Prioritäten?
Es hat fast etwas Groteskes, diese himmelschreiende Heuchelei. Während Rentnerinnen mit steigenden Prämien und Mieten ringen, junge Familien die Hypothek kaum noch stemmen können und die Armee jahrelang auf Verschleiss gefahren wurde, findet der Bund plötzlich Milliarden, um irgendwo auf der Welt den Gutmenschen zu spielen. Grossartig. Wirklich. Nur schade, dass die eigenen Bürger dabei zusehen dürfen, wie ihre Steuern in ferne Länder abwandern – und dann, wenn mal was für die Schweiz selbst nötig wäre, reflexartig in die Tasche der Konsumenten gegriffen wird. Solidarität? Ja, global und edel. Nur leider auf Kosten der Deppen, die das Ganze finanzieren.
Die Kritik wird inzwischen laut und bösartig – und kommt keineswegs nur aus der üblichen SVP-Ecke. Selbst bürgerliche Kreise und die FDP schäumen: «Asylmilliarden und Auslandshilfe kürzen, statt das Volk mit noch höheren Mehrwertsteuern zu melken!» Umfragen zeigen dasselbe: Das Volk will keine MWST-Erhöhung – weder für die 13. AHV-Rente noch für die Aufrüstung. Lieber würde man endlich bei den Milliarden sparen, die man so grosszügig in die Welt schmeisst. Aber genau das tut die Regierung ja nicht. Sie priorisiert das Gute draussen und das Sparen drinnen. Wie nobel. Wie zynisch. Wie typisch Schweiz-Regierung 2026.
Es hat fast etwas Komödiantisches, diese himmelschreiende Diskrepanz. Der Bund wirft mit Milliarden um sich, solange der Empfänger mindestens 800 Kilometer Luftlinie entfernt ist. Und wenn dann doch einmal etwas für die eigenen Leute nötig wird, greift man reflexartig tief in die Hosentasche aller Konsumenten – also praktisch aller. Eine charmante Art, globale Solidarität zu praktizieren: auf Kosten derer, die zu Hause bleiben und brav Rechnungen zahlen. Willkommen in der Schweiz 2026 – wo man international ein Herz aus Gold hat und national einen Geldbeutel aus Blei.
