Iran is not only targeting the U.S. and Israel; its strategy appears aimed at cutting trade corridors, logistics routes, and oil exports to the West. Dubai Airport is closed. Abu Dhabi Airport is closed. Doha Airport is closed. Kuwait Airport is closed. Bahrain Airport is closed. Dozens of U.S. bases have been attacked, with economic and political infrastructure also targeted. Oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz are reportedly being bombed.

The European Union is sanctioning German journalist @HusseDogru over Gaza reporting. He is the first European Union citizen known to be living inside the EU to face extrajudicial sanctions imposed by Brussels – robbing him of fundamental civil and humanitarian rights.

BREAKING: PEOPLE AGAINST GENOCIDE SHUT DOWN ELBIT'S FILTON FACILITY "From 7AM, activists from the People Against Genocide group took action to shut down the Elbit Systems facility in Filton, near Bristol. Arriving in two specially modified vans, the People Against Genocide team locked-on inside one vehicle, and climbed on top of the other, blockading the site, and preventing 'business as usual'. Elbit, Israel's biggest weapons maker, supply the Israeli military with 85% of their killer drone fleet, and land-based equipment. The arms firm claim that the Filton facility is a research, development, and manufacturing hub, but quadcopter drones, of the exact type used to kill civilians in Gaza, have previously been discovered here, ready to be shipped to the Israeli military. Elbit, who have several manufacturing facilities located in Britain, where weapons used in the Gaza genocide have been made, have in the past, managed to conceal their activities, to a large extent, from the general public. But a wave of publicity, over the past couple of years, has highlighted the company's role in the killing of Palestinians. The main reason for the exposure of Elbit's involvement, has been the direct action of pro-Palestinian groups like People Against Genocide. Only yesterday, activists from the group, sprayed the entire front of the Birmingham offices of Chubb Insurance at 20 Colmore Circus. This followed an action, a week earlier, when, after covering the building in red paint, members from the group locked-on outside the company's London offices at 40 Leadenhall Street. Chubb were targeted because they have recently taken over the insurance of UAV Engines, a subsidiary of Elbit, who manufacture engines for Israel's deadly drone fleet. Without Chubb's insurance, UAV could not produce drone-engines on British soil. On today's action, which is still ongoing, a spokesperson for People Against Genocide said: "Yesterday we were in Birmingham, hitting Elbit's insurer. Today, we strike at them directly, by shutting down their key facility at Filton, Bristol. While the genocide of the Palestinians continues, we will not rest in terms of targeting the British-based companies and facilities, who contribute to these war crimes. Elbit, it is time to go!" @RSF_en has press releases from Turkey, Russia, India ... but for almost a year they've said nothing about the @EU_Commission's extra judicial abuse of journalist @hussedogru. He's sanctioned without any trial and the EU commission won't even say what they accuse him of. What about @cpj, @Irenekhan, @hrw and all those orgs who "really care" about freedom of expression.
