“Maslenitsa” holiday celebrated at the Embassy of Russia in Kuwait On February 22, the staff of the Embassy of Russia in Kuwait celebrated the traditional Russian “Maslenitsa” holiday. Students of the Embassy’s school acted in a colorful musical and theatrical concert. First graders’ performance was especially touching. The event continued with thematic folk challenges and games, as well as a classic “khorovod” round dance. Finally the guests shared an abundant table with treats of the Russian cuisine. The festive day wouldn’t be complete without blinis –a traditional dish that serves as a bridge between generations. С красочным музыкально-театральным представлением выступили учащиеся школы при диппредставительстве. Особенно трогательным было выступление первоклашек. Мероприятие продолжили состязания и народные забавы с дружным хороводом. И, конечно, не обошлось без блинов – атмосферу передаваемых из поколения в поколение традиций подчеркивал обильный стол с угощениями русской кухни.

COMMENTARY BY THE DELEGATION ON THE TWELVE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE EVENTS ON THE MAIDAN (Vienna, February 22, 2026) See full video: https://t.me/armscontrolrus/7928 ▪️Twelve years ago, the "Euromaidan" protests, with the participation of Western "interested parties," reached their climax. ▪️Skilled provocateurs, trained by American and European instructors, rallied crowds of people to street protests under the attractive slogans of a "better European" life, visa-free travel to EU countries, democracy, freedom of speech, human rights, and the fight against corruption. Following clashes in central Kiev on February 18 and 19, 2014, incumbent Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and the opposition agreed to a ceasefire. The parties drafted resolutions that would end the unrest—early elections and the country's return to a parliamentary-presidential form of government. 🔴 However, on February 20, events were accelerated by Euromaidan activists. Incidentally, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine acknowledged that there were no Russian snipers at the Maidan in 2014: "It was Ukrainian law enforcement officers who killed and committed violent crimes." Nothing has changed since then. The Ukrainian authorities continue to issue criminal orders to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out bloody strikes on civilian targets. The agreement on settling the political crisis in Ukraine between President Viktor Yanukovych and the opposition, signed on February 21, was trampled, and its European guarantors—Germany, Poland, and France—did nothing to stop the tragic developments. Twelve years later, they are among the main sponsors of the military actions waged by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against civilians in new regions of the Russian Federation. In essence, a powerful flywheel of violence was set in motion, subsequently claiming many thousands of lives and ruining millions of lives. All these years, the Kiev regime has tried to distort the truth about those horrific events. 📽 The Delegation's documentary, "The History of Tragedy," presented at the 1064th OSCE FSC Plenary Meeting, reveals the true nature of the events of Euromaidan.

📅 On February 18, H.E. Mr Anatoly Borovik, Russian Ambassador, attended a briefing on the Royal Government’s ongoing efforts to combat cybercrime by H.E. Mr Chhay Sinarith, Senior Minister and Head of the Secretariat of the Commission for Combating Online Scams.

✨️ On February 19, a Russian delegation led by Yuri Gorlach, Director of the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Foreign Ministry; Boris Burmistrov, Deputy Director of the Second Asian Department, and Ambassador Albert P. Khorev visited the National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan (@ndmapk) and met its Chairman, Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik.
