Injecting tri-acylated lipoproteins - structurally and functionally similar to those in borrelia - could mimic aspects of Lyme infection pathology.
Think overstimulation of TLR2 pathways. Think immunosuppression or tolerance in some contexts (ie: certain meningococcal lipoproteins can downregulate responses). This will result in exacerbation of symptoms in people with existing or latent borrelia exposure, or contributing to post-vaccination inflammatory syndromes.
How many people in the US have been exposed to borrelia? I'll answer: A LOT.

In March 2024, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) agreed to remove social media posts and web pages that advised against using ivermectin to treat COVID-19, settling a lawsuit brought by three doctors, including Houston-based Dr. Mary Talley Bowden. The lawsuit, argued by Boyden Gray PLLC, contended that the FDA overstepped its authority by interfering in the doctor-patient relationship and prescribing practices.
