Das Magazin @cicero_online hat vor der Wahl fürs Intendantenamt im ZDF am kommenden Freitag, den 13. März 2026, allen 60 Fernsehräten sowie den derzeit nur elf Verwaltungsräten vier Fragen gestellt. Keiner hat darauf, trotz ausreichender Zeit, geantwortet. Die Fragen lauteten:
"1. Seit Ihrer Wahl in den Verwaltungsrat bzw. Fernsehrat haben Sie mehrere Berichte des Landesrechnungshofes Rheinland-Pfalz sowie der KEF erhalten. In diesen wird wiederholt über Vorgänge beim ZDF informiert, welche den Tatbestand der Untreue sowie des Betrugs erfüllen könnten. Inwiefern halten Sie es vor dem Hintergrund der Sorgfaltspflicht, der Sie in Ihrer Eigenschaft als Verwaltungsrat bzw. Fernsehrat unterliegen, geboten und was haben Sie tatsächlich unternommen, um a) die vom Landesrechnungshof beanstandeten Handlungen zu erörtern und b) sicherzustellen, dass Wiederholungen unterbleiben?
2. In den Berichten des ZDF sind nicht nur die Gehaltszahlungen an den Intendanten offengelegt, sondern auch die Zahlungen vermerkt, die dieser sich für seine Tätigkeit als Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender diverser ZDF-Tochtergesellschaften auszahlen lässt. Claus Kleber hat im Sommer 2020 bei der Heraeus Bildungsstiftung gesagt, dass er und sein Team des „heute journal“ in der Covid-19-Debatte eher als Regierungssprecher tätig waren, denn als Journalisten gearbeitet hätten. Intendant Himmler hat in den letzten vier Jahren diesen groben Verstoß gegen die elementaren journalistischen Prinzipien weder im Verwaltungsrat noch im Fernsehrat zum Thema gemacht. Was haben Sie nachweislich unternommen, a) um nachvollziehen zu können, wie es zu diesem Verstoß über Monate kommen konnte, und b) was haben Sie erkennbar getan, um jegliche Form einer Wiederholung zu unterbinden?
4. Am 15.2.2026 hat das „heute journal“ eingestandenermaßen gefälschte und aus dem Zusammenhang gerissene Videos über die angebliche Abschiebung von Migranten in den USA gezeigt. Mit den gefakten und zeitlogisch sowie thematisch falschen und geframten Videos hat das ZDF „heute journal“ seine Zuschauer – darunter viele Beitragszahlende – getäuscht. Diese grobe journalistische Verfehlung wirkt um so schwerer, als die Moderatorin der Sendung zuvor in ihrer Anmoderation, einem Framing, explizit vor gefälschten Bildern und Videos gewarnt hatte. Damit sollte offenbar die Glaubwürdigkeit des eigenen gesendeten Materials hervorgehoben werden.Durch die Sendung haben die mit der Auswahl und Aufbereitung Betrauten sowie die Moderatorin der Sendung einen erheblichen Vertrauensverlust für das ZDF herbeigeführt. Das Ansehen des Senders und der Moderatorin wurden erheblich beschädigt.Das Verhalten des Senders im Gefolge dieser Zuschauertäuschung jedoch entsprach der Fehlleistung der Sendung selbst: Eine Entschuldigung beim Zuschauer erfolgte erst drei Tage später. Zuvor waren – lediglich tröpfchenweise – wiederum unrichtige Angaben („technisches Versehen“) zum Zustandekommen der Täuschung aufgestellt worden.Inwieweit haben Sie auf diesen Vorgang in Ihrer Eigenschaft als Mitglied eines Kontrollgremiums nachgewiesenermaßen reagiert und halten Sie die in den Fragen 1-4 beschriebenen Vorgänge ausreichend, um von einer Wiederwahl Himmlers zum ZDF-Intendanten abzusehen?"
Der Autor Roland Schatz kommentiert das so: "Dabei ist der Fernsehrat kein feiner Debattierclub, der mit Praktika für Neffen und Nichten sowie Gratiskarten für „Wetten, dass“ oder Fußballländerspiele mit garantiertem Kameraschwenk über die Sippe billigst abgefunden werden kann. Hier geht es um Verantwortung und Rechenschaft nicht nur des ZDF und seines Managements. Die Mitglieder des Fernsehrates betreffen diese Pflichten sogar in besonderer Weise. Sie haben eine Garantenstellung. Sie stehen ein für die Wahrung des Rechts, den Schutz der Anstalt und die Interessen der Beitragszahler. Dafür können sie juristisch in Haftung genommen werden – so wie es bei Aufsichtsräten längst gang und gäbe ist."

Alright I'm going to go through why it was the Americans who bombed the girl's school talking point by talking point and with more important notes because when I made this post below I was not aware of all the narratives already going around. This is the last I will speak on this because I think people are too emotionally investigated to act in good faith.
First and most notably: The girl's school in Minab was bombed at 10:45am. This is an hour after attacks began in Iran. This would mean that the attack was part of the initial wave of strikes and came before the Iranian response could take place. This is because the guys who were meant to give orders to retaliate were dead.
Secondly: We know Minab was hit by the Americans at the outbreak of the war. It was displayed in their own graphic during General Dan Caine's press conference (see the NYT link at the bottom of the post)
Thirdly: The video that everyone is seeing is part of a 7 missile strike package. The reason someone is filming the area and smoke is already present is because the missile on screen is not the first missile. The missile on screen is also not the missile that hit the school, rather a building in the middle of the military compound that the school was right next to.
Fourthly: It is not a Kh-55. Iran does not operate Kh-55s. They operate copies of Kh-55s which are ground launched and are visually distinct from TLAMs due to them having a large turbojet mounted below the frame of the missile. In the first image, you can see a Russian Kh-55 on approach. Note the thick block of pixels in the aft of the missile. That's the turbojet. It is not visible in the shared video from Minab.
Fifthly: The Iranians have barely used cruise missiles during this war. The UAE, which is directly across the Strait of Hormuz from Minab, has only detected 8 cruise missile launches, all of which have been intercepted, as of 6 March. This is compared to 205 ballistic missiles and 1,184 drones. This is the weakest argument but we simply haven't seen cruise missiles deployed.

Talking point: The explosion is too weak! This is correct. Though that doesn't mean that the missile was not a Tomahawk. Tomahawks have experienced multiple failures over the past 3 months. Mostly with dud warheads. See picture three for an example from Syria just yesterday. My initial incorrect thought was that we were seeing a bunker buster. No. It's likely just a failure to detonate.
Talking point: The Iranians have provided no debris to prove that it was a Tomahawk! This argument I find the most compelling. However, just as this post was being written the Iranians posted pictures of Tomahawk debris. See the next post for imagery. It is up to you to believe them.
Conclusion: This was a US strike.
This strike took place at the beginning of the war as part of the Tomahawk strike package to hit Iranian military targets in the first hour of the war. It took place before the Iranians could launch a military response and the hit on the girls' school was likely the result of an American intelligence failure, which labeled the school as a military target due to the close proximity to the military base.
