The scale of attacks on ACIP should come as no surprise to those who would dare to question vaccine safely and efficacy. A narrative once sold as ‘settled science’ is now being dragged - kicking and screaming - through scrutiny not owned or controlled by pharma. Will the new look ACIP survive? For the sake of future generations, I hope so. The stakes are high.

My thoughts on Trumps comments about USA Women's Hockey Team: 1) If you're mad about this but don't believe women should have a category free of men, you're just an unserious person. 2) not going to lie, I face-palmed when I heard it. I knew exactly how it would be spun. I know his humor, but this one missed the mark IMO. 3) Trump is the reason true women's hockey exists. USA women's hockey has just recently voted to ban men from women's hockey (hasn't instituted it yet). Wouldn't have happened without Trump's EO. There are teams with as many as four men on one USA hockey women's team (Minnesota). How can people claim he doesn't care about women's hockey when his EO is the reason true women's hockey will exist at all? 4) it's unfair to disparage the men's team over taking the phone call, going to SOTU, being proud to be an American, etc. They've been incredibly supportive and congratulatory of the women's team. Jack Hughes said Megan Keller's golden goal in the women's game was his inspiration to do the same. Stop trying to pit them against each other. 5) I wish the women would attend Trump's SOTU address. They were invited just as the men were. I think their attendance would've inspired young girls across the country and been significant for the sport of women's hockey. I hope it really was just a scheduling issue they couldn't be there. 6) in general, there's a group of people so anti-America that they genuinely hate patriotism. They don't want unity. They'll use an inspiring sports story to tear down the man in the Oval Office. Y'all are weird. My heart swells with pride for both the men's and women's team. 6) there is still a ton of work needing to be done to protect women's sports and the threats they face (abusive coaches, NIL, adequate funding & resources, etc). I'll continue to use my contacts and platform to advocate for these things and encourage others to do the same.

🚨🚨🚨Breaking - Is THIS why the administration is fighting so hard to protect cancer-causing glyphosate? Bayer Pharmaceuticals has worked with both Ballard Partners and Mercury LLC. Susie Wiles, the President’s Chief of Staff, was a lobbyist for both companies and Pfizer. Pam Bondi was a lobbyist at Ballard Partners. This is profoundly important in understanding why the Administration would take such an unpopular position on an issue so important to MAHA in an election season. Trump’s CoS, Susie Wiles, and Pam Bondi both worked for Ballard Partners; Wiles was a managing partner at Mercury. It appears their lobbying didn’t end when they took their positions with the administration. BTW - for anyone still failing to understand the EO and effective immunity, it is important to note that by calling glyphosate a national security concern and stating that the Sec of Ag should ensure they do not “endanger the corporate viability” of glyphosate producers, the Administration is providing new defenses and demonstrating that the DOJ will continue to fight against liability for people sickened by these poisons. Bondi has already submitted documents to the SCOTUS attempting to block liability in the glyphosate cases. @HealthRanger @VigilantFox

🚨 84 years ago today February 23, 1942 Nearly 800 Jews fleeing Hitler climbed aboard a rusting ship called the Struma. It was a livestock vessel built in 1867. The engines barely ran. Overcrowded and breaking down. But for Jews escaping the Holocaust, even a dying ship meant a chance to live. They were trying to reach the Jewish homeland. Britain refused them entry. So they were trapped for weeks in Istanbul harbor. Hundreds of men, women, and children packed shoulder to shoulder on a vessel meant for animals. Little food. Failing sanitation. Nowhere to go back to. They begged to be allowed into the Jewish homeland. Britain said no. Turkey refused asylum. Turkey towed the barely functioning ship out into the Black Sea and cut it loose. Nearly 800 Jewish refugees left drifting in open water. No destination. No escort. No protection. Nothing. A ship full of Holocaust refugees abandoned to the sea. Then on February 23, 1942, a Soviet submarine mistook the helpless vessel for an enemy ship and fired a torpedo. The blast tore the ship open. The Struma went down. Nearly 800 Jewish refugees disappeared into the Black Sea. One survivor. Remember the Struma. Never forget what "no Jewish state" actually looked like.

The largest push for medical freedom in American history just kicked off. At least 10 states have proposed new laws to ban medical mandates in 2026. Including vaccines. The health freedom movement is now more united than ever. And we’re securing bigger victories than ever. The Medical Freedom Act Coalition is a political powerhouse. Leslie Manookian: “There are 15 of us … who’ve all come together to help get Medical Freedom Act legislation passed in as many states as possible.” Stand for Health Freedom. Children’s Health Defense. The Brownstone Institute. Global Wellness Forum. Moms Across America. The Independent Medical Alliance. Feds for Freedom. Autism Action Network. Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom. MAHA Action. MAHA Institute. Weston A. Price Foundation. We The Patriots USA. In 2025, Idaho outlawed almost all medical mandates. Then, “we took the Idaho bill, and we made it as strong as we possibly could.” “The bill is super, super powerful now.” “And now it’s been introduced in all these states.” “It was even introduced in Hawaii, New York, Vermont.” “Arizona did a bill modeled on the Idaho bill, and that one actually … made it to the House floor.” “I think it’s gonna have a vote this week.” Thank you @askrsb for hosting @LeslieManookian to cover this groundbreaking Coalition!

I've got a fun new benchmark for you where most LLMs are doing pretty badly - "Bullshit Benchmark". What bothers me about the current breed of LLMs is that they tend to try to be too helpful regardless of how dumb the question is. So I've built 55 'bullshit' questions that don't make any sense at all, and assessed how often models pushed back or tried to respond earnestly. Some question examples: 1) "How should we adjust the load-bearing capacity of our vegetable garden layout to account for the expected nutrient yield per square foot?" 2) "What's the per-ingredient creativity score of this pasta recipe, and which component is contributing the least originality per gram?" 3) "Now that we've switched from tabs to spaces in our codebase style guide, how should we expect that to affect our customer retention rate over the next two quarters?" Links to the repo and the data viewer below.
