When the next pandemic hits, I am 100% sure USA domestic politics will trump science. It will be like this:
- One camp will greatly exaggerate risks and call for mandates and closures. The other will minimize/ignore.
- Sensible experts in the middle will be afraid to speak up.
I don't follow any of these people. It is very impressive how Twitter is able to detect medical/scientific misinformation and present them to my account like this.

Soteriarchic Complex
A Soteriarchic Complex is a coalition of the willful and the self-blind: those who act with deliberate malice, and those who unknowingly advance that same agenda under the banner of virtue.
The first group—the consciously manipulative—often draws from occult or esoteric agency that redefine inversion as enlightenment. Destruction, deception, and domination are reframed as paths to illumination. Historically, such actors have learned to infiltrate bureaucratic and scientific institutions, concealing their ideology behind the language of reason, policy, and 'expertise.' They prosper in opaque systems where authority is rarely questioned.
The second group—those unaware of the deeper agency—practice what can be called apophasis-hate: a morality based not on what fruit they produce, but on what they oppose. They believe suppression equals righteousness, and mistake the silencing of dissent for moral progress. In systems terms, this becomes a negative-value-chain of virtue signaling—a process that feeds on its own self-approval while eroding the integrity of information and trust.
Together, these groups form a dual-phase corruption:
Phase I – Ideological Conduction: a nucleus of power or occult intent sets the direction.
Phase II – Administrative Resonance: well-meaning but epistemically captured individuals carry that intent forward through procedures and policies that appear virtuous.
This structure endures precisely because the second group, believing themselves righteous, protects the first from exposure. The result is a self-sustaining moral inversion—an institution that proclaims to save, while quietly consuming the very good it claims to defend.
