Sie loben das Forum, weil man „Gegengifte gegen Demokratie und Rechtsstaatsfeindlichkeit“ sucht, „positive, lokal gebundene Praxis“ entwickelt und „realistische Zielvisionen“ für das politische Projekt der SPD, und das mag auf dem ersten Bild fromm klingen, und konstruktiv, aber aus der Perspektive Jesu ist es jedoch geistlicher Ehebruch.
Jesus hat sich nie als Lieferant von „Gegengiften“ für irgendeine politische Richtung hergegeben, weder für die Zeloten, noch für die Herodianer, noch für die religiös-politisch verflochtenen Pharisäer, sondern allen hat er ins Gesicht gesagt:
„Ihr Heuchler!“ (Mt 23).
Er hat den Glauben nie zur Ressource für die Stabilisierung irdischer Macht gemacht.

Wie man sieht, der Glaube stirbt heute nicht primär durch offene Feindschaft, sondern durch Vereinnahmung, und er wird schal, wenn er sich der jeweiligen politischen Suppe anpasst, statt sie zu salzen und zu bewahren (Mt 5,13).
Genau das passiert, wenn Theologen wie Sie der Kirche die Rolle der „Resilienz-Stifterin“ und Demokratie-Stabilisatorin zuweisen.
Jesus hat den Tempel gereinigt, weil er zur Räuberhöhle geworden war (Mt 21,13), und heute wird das Haus des Gebets zur Diskursarena einer Partei, mit wohlmeinenden Theologen auf dem Podium.
Wer als Christ so eng mit einer politischen Fraktion verknüpft ist, der verliert die prophetische Freiheit, denn er wird oder inzwischen vielleicht schon so weit gekommen ist, dass er dieser Partei nicht mehr frei widersprechen kann, wenn sie z. B. den Lebensschutz relativiert, die biblische Anthropologie (Mensch als Ebenbild Gottes) zugunsten von „sozialen Konstrukten“ aufgibt oder die Schöpfungsordnung in Frage stellt.
Wer mit der Politik „sammelt“, zerstreut das Reich Gottes (Mt 12,30).
Kurz und radikal, wie Jesus selbst es gesagt hätte:
Ihr könnt nicht Gott dienen und dem Mammon.
Heute heißt dieser Mammon oft „politische Relevanz“, „gesellschaftlicher Einfluss“ oder „konstruktiver Beitrag wie den Ihr zur SPD-Politik“x besonders wenn man vergisst, dass die Trennung von Kirche und Politik keine liberale Idee ist, sondern christologisch radikal.
Jesus hat das Reich Gottes nicht als Verbesserungsvorschlag für die römische Provinzverwaltung verkündet, sondern als Umkehrung aller irdischen Machtlogiken, und deshalb muss ich Ihnen als Christ sagen: Hören Sie auf, die Kirche zur nützlichen Ressource für ein parteipolitisches Projekt zu machen, sonst stirbt der Glaube nicht durch Verfolgung, sondern durch die tödliche, freundliche Umarmung von innen, und Sie wissen genau dass diese Umarmung oft die gefährlichere ist.
