Müller hatte die politische Forderungen, Managergehälter nach oben zu begrenzen, kritisiert. „In Deutschland“, so Müller, „besteht der Drang, alles politisch regulieren zu wollen. Aber wo soll das enden? Wir hatten so etwas bereits einmal in Form der DDR.“
Heute - 8 Jahre später - geht es Müller um die große Entwicklung zu einer DDR 2.0!
Grundsätzlich sieht Müller Deutschland politisch und gesellschaftlich auf einem problematischen Kurs. „Wir sind auf dem Weg in einen Vollkaskostaat“, sagte der ehemalige Topmanager. Viele Bürger versteckten sich hinter staatlicher Absicherung und übernähmen immer weniger Eigenverantwortung.
„Wir sind ein Volk von Egoisten“, sagte Müller. Seine frühere Warnung bekräftigte er erneut: „Wir sind auf dem Weg zu einer DDR 2.0.“ Ohne umfassende Reformen drohe Deutschland wirtschaftlich weiter zurückzufallen.
