New peer-reviewed papers are being published that pretty much conclude the same as papers published years ago.
Why are we on this hamster wheel? WHY?
New data is fine, and new publications are fine (necessary even), but if they are simply add-on reproductions - confirmed as reproductions of previously-published studies - then why aren't those original publications the springboard of change? Why aren't those original authors even acknowledged, oftentimes?
