Very important point made in today's @Sensible__Med post. The post summarizes new guidelines recommend reacting to incidental findings of coronary calcification. The recommendation is Class 1 despite evidence lacking such a classification.
I am sensitive to this being that I had a CT a couple of weeks ago that showed incidental coronary calcifications. Admittedly, when I was told about that, I had my Mandrola Moment-What would John think?
I assumed he would ignore it, which is what I did.
That this recommednation was made as a Class 1 is absurd-the evidence supporting the recommendation is just not there.

➡️ Besonders kritisch sieht er die Entwicklung im öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunk: Viele Bürger nähmen ARD und ZDF nicht mehr als neutral wahr, sondern als politisch einseitig.
➡️ Historisch verortet er dieses Denken in linken Ideologien: Schon Marxismus-Leninismus habe sich als „wissenschaftliche Wahrheit“ inszeniert. Heute erkennt er ähnliche Tendenzen in Teilen der Genderforschung.
➡️ Transparenz sei daher zentral: Publikum müsse wissen, worauf die Kompetenz eines „Experten“ beruht – und welche Gegenpositionen existieren.

It was pattern recognition that allowed me, at an early stage, to spot that the 2020 "pandemic" was most likely a scam.
Not epidemiology. Not virology. Not a medical degree. Not even mathematics, although that was useful. Pattern recognition. Recognising patterns of events or human behaviour from history being repeated.
When the "pandemic" story first appeared, that people in China were falling sick from a novel virus, and that we should all be very worried, I immediately remembered 2009 and thought "having we done this before?"
And we had. It even involved the same people. Ferguson, Fauci, Drosten on the side of the baddies. Wolfgang Wodarg on the side of the goodies. And the same modus operandi. Propaganda. Fearmongering. Exaggeration. Fake testing.
The only difference was, back then, the baddies hadn't bought the media. They put that right next time around.
Pattern recognition.
Teach your kids. It might save their lives one day.
