Ein Punkt wurde von den Rednern konsequent ausgeklammert: die Selbstverantwortung.
Außer mir sprach niemand darüber, dass übermäßige Kalorienzufuhr und ein ungesunder Lebensstil nicht zufällig entstehen. Essen ist – bei allen sozialen Faktoren – auch eine persönliche Entscheidung. Dies ignorierend, forderten einige Abgeordnete einfacheren Zugang zu gewichtsreduzierenden Medikamenten und mehr Vorgaben durch die EU und WHO, um Fettleibigkeit zu regulieren.
