Some scientists argue that Covid jumped 2x from an animal to human at a Wuhan market in Nov/Dec 2019.
Some argue that US scientists created Covid and sent it to Wuhan where it leaked from a lab.
Between the two, I can't tell which is less supported by the available evidence.

Frau Przygodda (AfD) wirft Frau Gebel (Die Linke) "pathologischen Männerhass" vor und erhält deshalb von Frau Lindholz (CSU) einen Ordnungsruf.
Das Reformprogramm von @larsklingbeil hat ein bisschen Licht und viel Schatten: Gut ist, dass er ein großes Reformpaket will und anerkennt, dass wir endlich mehr Wachstum brauchen.
Gut im Einzelnen:
✅"Wir werden als Gesellschaft insgesamt mehr arbeiten müssen."
✅Problem der hohen Teilzeitquote und Frühverrentung benannt (Grüße an @gitta_connemann @mit_bund)
✅Betreuungsinfrastruktur ausbauen
✅Einkommensteuersenkung für 95% der Steuerzahler (aber: siehe unten!)
✅Förderprogramm fokussieren statt Gießkanne
✅Berichtspflichten streichen (steht allerdings schon im Koa-Vertrag)
Kritisch bzw. schädlich:
🚫Ehegattensplitting abschaffen.
🚫Bessere Befristungsmöglichkeiten (eigentlich gut): nur für tarifgebundene Unternehmen (Damit wäre fast der ganze Mittelstand benachteiligt)
🚫Steuererhöhung für obere 5% - das sind vor allem mittelständische Familienunternehmen (in einer Wirtschaftskrise - absurd!)
🚫Radikaler Bürokratieabbau nur für tarifgebundene Arbeitgeber (benachteiligt wieder den Mittelstand)
🚫Zölle zur Marktabschottung (Schöne Grüße von Trump und dem vorigen Jahrhundert).
🚫Übergewinnsteuer für Energiekonzerne (kurzatmig)
🚫Verbindliche Energiepreisgrenzen (Sozialismus)
🚫Energiesteuersenkung nur befristet statt dauerhaft
🚫Mehr Wind und Solar ohne Lösung fürs Backup (verteuert die Energie und gefährdet Versorgungssicherheit)
🚫Staatliche Wohnungsbaugesellschaft (Grüße aus der DDR, besser privaten Bau durch weniger Regulierung erleichtern)
🚫Erbschaftsteuererhöhung
🚫Digitalsteuer (viel Spaß im Handelskrieg mit den USA!)
🚫Subventionierung von "Medienvielfalt und unabhängigen Journalismus" (bloß nicht noch mehr Steuergeld für Correctiv & Co.)

Their US collaborators shared these ideas but didn't have access to the Wuhan virus collection, database, or cell lines for growing viruses. Baric also operated at high containment BSL3.

These US partners of the Wuhan Institute of Virology did not have access to Wuhan databases or lab records, but their communications could have clues.
Is David Lammy aware there are quotes extolling the ancient rights of Britons to trial by jury *on the windows of his actual office*?
As far as US involvement in Covid origins goes, top research funders advocated for gain-of-function research & virus hunting + middlemen & collaborators sent 💰 & ideas to Wuhan.
But scientists in China were the only ones with the ability & materials to create Covid-19.
The Iranians would obviously be getting technical assistance and weapons in exchange. This has already become a proxy war.
