At the turn of the century, in 1899, David H. Reeder, MD, PhD, presented the facts of smallpox vaccination as he saw them. It’s clear that the idea of vaccination Jenner pushed 100 years earlier resulted in a great deal of pain, suffering, and death—especially when the real solution, already applied successfully to other diseases, actually worked. Dr. Reeder is one of over 100 doctors who pointed out the sheer absurdity and danger of scratching someone’s arm with pus from another person’s arm, a crude practice known as arm-to-arm vaccination that persisted for 100 years. Yet their voices were systematically erased from medical knowledge and discarded into the dustbin of history. Here’s what Dr. Reeder had to say:
“Vaccinated persons have been known to suffer with smallpox two or even more times, and it certainly does not render the victims immune, therefore, why make them certain to suffer and take the risk of severe illness, in order to avoid a possible contagion, which may never come within reach, and which may always be avoided if proper attention is paid to cleanliness and other hygienic rules? I have lived in twenty different states and have traveled over twice as many, visited nearly all classes and conditions of people, had many patients come to me with white, frightened faces and ask breathlessly if I thought they had the smallpox, and yet I think I can safely say that I have never seen a person suffer more, not as much, with a properly treated case of smallpox, as I have from vaccination. In fact, I have never known a case of so-called smallpox develop under my system of treatment and neither will you, my good layman and my honest fellow physician, if you pay strict heed to the rules which follow. Neither will you ever see your little ones suffer with swollen arm and burning fever from the effects of vaccination.
Let me ask you, my dear sir, how is it that many other diseases have been entirely eradicated since then by hygienic measures alone? Take the plague that visited London, for instance; then consider the difference in the hygienic conditions of all classes today as compared with fifty years ago; then again, consider the fact that smallpox still ravages those armies that do not surround their quarters with hygienic conditions, no matter how carefully they are vaccinated, while those which are cared for properly the disease is almost unknown.”

▪️In an attempt to force a 'yes' vote, the Bill's sponsors
employed blackmail, threatening to remove Welsh
clauses, thus opening door for private AS only.
