None of this is remotely surprising. The sex change experiments conducted by Dr John Money decades ago resulted in his subjects committing suicide. It was entirely forseeable that vivisecting people's genitalia in order to turn them into hideous, sterile parodies of the opposite sex would destroy their minds and souls. Hacking off a boy's dick and feeding him estrogen does not turn him into a pretty girl; hacking off a girl's tits and feeding her testosterone does not turn her into a handsome boy; in both cases they wake up one day to realize that they have irreversibly become abominations, and worse, that they were partners in their own destruction, that they asked to be destroyed.
That's a hard thing to live with, and so, many decide not to.
All of this was easily predictable, and indeed was predicted. From the very beginning.
And yet an entire generation of white kids was subjected to this butchery for a decade. Celebration of this butchery of white youth was made mandatory. It was subsidized by the state. It was taught in the schools. The entire system was turned into a factory for mutilating white kids.
There's no going back for those kids.
There shouldn't be any going back for the people who enabled and encouraged it, either.
Japan has the world’s best railway system. 28% of Japanese passenger-kilometers are by rail. Germany manages 6.4%, and the USA manages 0.25%. Just one Japanese company, JR East, carries more passengers than China’s entire railway system, and four times as many than Britain’s.
What is the secret of its success?

Part of the answer is that Japanese railway companies don't just operate trains. They run hospitals, supermarkets, department stores, amusement parks, office complexes, and retirement homes around their railway stations. One of them co-built Tokyo Disneyland. Another owns a baseball team. A third created its own all-women musical theater in 1914, which is still running today.
The logic is elegant: a railway increases the developable value of land around its stations, but normally that value accrues to landowners, not the railway operator. Japanese railway companies captured this value by owning and developing the land themselves.
About half of the revenue of Japanese railway companies comes from ‘side businesses’ like these. Allowing railway operators to capture more of the value they created meant that more lines were profitable, making a far larger system financially viable.
This may sound like a radically novel approach. But in fact, an exactly similar system existed in nineteenth-century America. The success of Japanese railways does not lie in some unreplicable feature of Japanese culture: it lies in good policy. If they learnt the right lessons from it, many countries could replicate Japan’s success.

🚨BREAKING: Largest Real-World Study of Ivermectin + Mebendazole in Cancer Patients Shows 84.4% Clinical Benefit — Nearly HALF Report Cancer Disappearance or Tumor Regression
After just 6 months, 48.4% of cancer patients taking ivermectin and mebendazole reported NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE (32.8%) or tumor regression (15.6%), while 36.1% reported disease stabilization⬇️
We have completed the largest real-world human analysis to date evaluating ivermectin and mebendazole in cancer patients—and the results represent one of the most compelling clinical signals ever documented for repurposed anti-parasitic therapies in oncology.
The groundbreaking analysis was made possible through a unique collaboration between The Wellness Company, the McCullough Foundation, and the Chairman of the President’s Cancer Panel (Dr. Harvey Risch)—uniting real-world clinical data, frontline medical experience, and high-level epidemiologic expertise to deliver urgently needed insights in oncology.
This was a real-world prospective clinical program evaluation of 197 cancer patients, with 122 completing a follow-up survey at about six months (61.9% response rate).
Cancer patients were prescribed compounded ivermectin–mebendazole, with each capsule containing 25 mg ivermectin and 250 mg mebendazole—most commonly taken at 1–2 capsules per day.
The cohort represented a clinically relevant population, including a wide variety cancer types, with 37.1% of patients reporting actively progressing disease at baseline and many having already undergone chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.
At six months, 84.4% of cancer patients reported clinical benefit (Clinical Benefit Ratio: 84.4% [95% CI: 77.0–89.8%]):
✅ 32.8% reported no evidence of disease (95% CI: 25.1–41.5%)
✅ 15.6% reported tumor regression (95% CI: 10.2–23.0%)
✅ 36.1% reported stable disease (95% CI: 28.1–44.9%)
Treatment adherence was high, with 86.9% completing the full protocol and 66.4% remaining on therapy at six months.
The regimen was well tolerated, with 25.4% reporting side effects, primarily mild and gastrointestinal, and over 93% continuing treatment despite these events.
Patients were treated in real-world conditions alongside concurrent therapies, including chemotherapy (27.9%), radiation (21.3%), surgery (19.7%), supplements (49.2%), and dietary modification (37.7%), supporting use as an adjunctive approach.
Together, these findings represent a large, internally consistent real-world clinical signal that supports URGENT further investigation of ivermectin and mebendazole as low-toxicity, adjunctive cancer therapies.
Given the strength of the signal observed here, advancing this line of investigation is no longer optional—it is necessary.
This is NOT the end. We will continue advancing this work with larger datasets to further define and validate the role of anti-parasitics in cancer outcomes.
The manuscript is now available as a preprint on the Zenodo research repository, operated by the European Organization for Nuclear Research, while undergoing peer review at leading oncology journals: “Real-World Clinical Outcomes of Ivermectin and Mebendazole in Cancer Patients: Results from a Prospective Observational Cohort.”

.. it would seem a smarter and a better long term solution to solve the physician scarcity problem in rural areas is by allowing for those who grow up in these communities to travel a vastly accelerated path to becoming a general practitioner. At the moment a bright young kid in rural West Virginia is much more likely to run his own HVAC shop than run his own primary care practice. Any current primary care practitioner will tell you the HVAC route is a much smarter and more lucrative path than a route to becoming a physician that has you spending a minimum of 11 years after graduating from high school and accruing mid six figures worth of debt. It wasn't always that way — a century ago, a young person could go from high school to practicing medicine in five or six years, and many of those physicians served exactly these kinds of communities. So Megan and Razib's comment on physician shortages and the need for high skilled immigrant labor that isn't possible to be sourced locally has a lot of layers to it. The "shortage" is partly a function of funding a lot of residency spots in rural areas, that are then filled by overseas physicians looking for an entry point to the US health care system. This framework is a policy choice that doesn't even do a good job of ever fixing the problem because physicians from Lahore and Hyderabad (or their children, who overwhelmingly leave medicine/ choose to practice medicine in metropolitan areas) only stay in these communities if they have no other option. If we, for instance, stopped funding rural residency slots, these hospitals that are still awash in cash from a variety of other federal programs would choose different labor options (nurse practitioners/physician assistants/pay more to local family practice doctors to help staff patients), and suddenly you would have a very different looking landscape of "need" for physicians. Bottom line: if you are going to try to engineer something — make it more attractive for local members of the community to become physicians in their community rather than massively incentivizing rural hospitals to import physicians to fill a need that you created.

The deeper problem in higher education, often overlooked, is that too many people who aren’t ready for college attend anyway.
Universities are admitting students who struggle with middle-school math. The dropout data underscore this point: students often describe leaving school in financial terms because that is the pressure they feel most immediately, but the strongest predictors of dropping out are inadequate academic preparation and poor early college performance.
If the system draws unprepared students into expensive programs that they are unlikely to complete, then policies focused solely on easing repayment or subsidizing access will not address the root problem.
