Vor 1950 war der gesamten Welt und all seinen Ökonomen klar, dass ein Aufblasen der Geldmenge die Preissteigerung zur Folge hat. Der Ökonom John Maynard Keynes kann als federführend in der Definitionsänderung bezeichnet werden. Die erste Neudefinition der Inflation war in Paul Samuelsons Werk „Economics“ in 1948 zu lesen: „Inflation = Anstieg des allgemeinen Preisniveaus“ Während John Maynard Keynes die Inflation in 1923 selber noch definierte als „den Prozess der Vermehrung der Geldmenge.“ (A Tract on Monetary Reform, John Maynard Keynes 1923) hat er seine Definition bis 1940 geändert. In dem Buch „How to pay for the war“ machte er klar WOFÜR das Geld wirklich eingesetzt wird und macht eine angenehme Begriffsumdeutung: “Inflation entsteht wenn der Nachfragedruck den Angebotsdruck übersteigt.” So argumentiert auch jeder gehirngewaschene Ökonom heute. Jeder der heute einen auf VWL und BWL etc macht ist eigentlich kein Ökonom sondern Keynesianer. Erkennbar an ihrer verqueren Definition von Inflation. Sie haben toll klingende Argumente, aber wollen vor allen Dingen ganz viel ablenken von der fundamentalen Tatsache, dass die zentrale Quelle der Teuerung die Inflation ist, also das politische Gelddrucken.
